Opera festival brings "Light and Darkness" to Óbidos in September

The Óbidos opera festival presents this year the theme "Light and Darkness", in a program that will run throughout the month of September. The event brings to the village various musical and cultural presentations related to the world of opera.

The gala "Meeting of Titans" marks the opening of the program, happening on September 5th. The concert takes place in Praça da Criatividade, one of the central public spaces of the village.

The opening show features the participation of the Orquestra das Beiras, which will accompany various soloists throughout the performance. This regional orchestral formation is composed of musicians from the central zone of Portugal.

The festival thus promises a diversified cultural offering for residents and visitors, taking advantage of the historical setting of Óbidos to host this event dedicated to lyric and operatic music.
