Feijóo: "the PP will join the legal proceedings regarding what happened in Ceuta"

The Popular Party (PP) announced it will join the legal proceedings regarding the events in Ceuta, as Alberto Núñez Feijóo declared on Saturday. The populares leader thus launched the beginning of a new political course that will be decisive for the party, in a context where in 2027 elections will be held in various Spanish autonomous communities and municipalities.

Feijóo gathered party members at the Carballeira de San Xusto, in the municipality of Cerdedo Cotobade in Pontevedra, to mark the beginning of the new political stage. The main objective of the populares is to make the leap to the Moncloa Palace, the seat of the Spanish government.

The PP president stated he is "ready" to take on the government and warned that, when he comes to power, he will carry out "the greatest reconstruction since the transition." However, he noted that winning the next national elections will not be enough, and that it is necessary to "win them decisively."
