The Bundeswehr, the German army, announced the order of 35 more wheeled armored vehicles of the "Schakal" model from the company KNDS, in an effort to reinforce national and NATO defense.
With this new order, the total number of Schakal vehicles contracted by Germany rises to 185 units, representing a significant investment in the country's military equipment.
The deliveries of these vehicles are scheduled for the period between 2027 and 2031, indicating a long-term commitment to strengthening ground defense capabilities.
The reinforcement comes at a time when Germany is seeking to reinforce its eastern flank within NATO, responding to growing concerns about European security.
