Narana Coissoró died this Saturday at the age of 94. The news was reported by CDS, the party for which he held various political positions throughout his life.
Narana Coissoró was a lawyer and full professor, having also held the positions of Deputy, Party Leader and Parliamentary Leader of CDS-PP. He was also Vice-President of the Assembly of the Republic.
CDS issued a statement of condolence recalling the centrist's "legacy" and extending condolences to his family. The party highlights the importance of his political trajectory and the contribution he made to Portuguese democratic life.
