Flávio Bolsonaro (PL) was the fifth candidate to participate in TV Globo's interview series with presidential candidates. During the interview, the candidate tried to dodge responsibility regarding the US tariff hikes, a measure that had the support of his brother, Eduardo Bolsonaro, who is Brazil's deputy in Washington.

Flávio Bolsonaro also downplayed the coup attempt episodes on January 8, trying to minimize the gravity of the events related to that episode.

Additionally, the candidate sought to transfer responsibility for the Banco Master case to current president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT), in another attempt to deflect questioning during the interview.

Venezuela's interim president, Delcy Rodríguez, defended that the country maintains property and sovereignty over its oil resources, despite Donald Trump announcing that the US would take control of 65 billion barrels of reserves. The 25-year agreement provides for the development of 17 strategic fields with investment exceeding $100 billion and a production target of more than 1.5 million barrels per day. Rodríguez stated that Venezuela will receive 16% royalties and 34% income tax, totaling approximately $19 per barrel sold, which could represent $209.3 billion over the course of the agreement. The opposition party Union and Change criticized the lack of transparency and argued that the agreement should be made public.
