Penedono and Sernancelhe are the two municipalities in the Viseu district that appear without packaging collection points on the Volta system platform, although the managing entity guarantees that the information available on the site is outdated. The Deposit and Refund (SDR) System Portugal claims it has Volta points registered in 303 of the 308 municipalities in the country. The entity responsible for the system acknowledges that the online database does not reflect the current reality and that it is working on updating the data. SDR Portugal manages the packaging system that allows consumers to return packaging for a refund, having been expanding its network of collection points throughout the national territory.
