Rio de Janeiro's North Zone will have a diverse cultural program at the turn of August to September, with activities ranging from samba circles to theatrical performances, including scientific events and Pará music. The neighborhoods of Irajá, Marechal Hermes, Cachambi, São Cristóvão, and Tijuca will host shows, plays, and activities for different audiences, with free options and popular-priced tickets.

The Irajá Samba event takes place this Saturday (29) and Sunday at Terraço G6 of Via Brasil Shopping, bringing together DJ, gastronomy, and performances by groups like Batuk Diferente, Sambandinho, Grupo Nascente, Diz no Pé, and Samba do Rico. On Saturday, the gates open at 3 PM, and on Sunday the program starts at 4 PM.

On Sunday (30), NorteShopping hosts another edition of the "Todo mundo Samba" project, expanding entertainment options for residents of the region. The program also includes a free festival at Lagoa with performances by Toquinho, Roberta Sá, Jacquin, and Bel Coelho, bringing together music, gastronomy, and art in a single event.

The initiative aims to bring culture to diverse audiences with accessible options, taking advantage of the diversity of artistic expressions present in the state capital, from traditional samba to Clarice Lispector's literary universe and the sounds of the Amazon.
