More than 2,400 people are missing in Nepal after severe floods devastated the country, while UNICEF warns that at least 17,000 children need urgent humanitarian assistance. Emergency teams continue to advance in difficult conditions, removing mud and debris, but the risk of new floods remains. So far, 586 bodies have been recovered, some of which may have been carried by the river current to India. The humanitarian situation is deteriorating rapidly, with thousands of people affected and the need for international support growing by the hour.
