Businessman Miguel Machado was held up by criminals on Friday night (28), on Cardoso Quintão Street, in Piedade, in the North Zone of Rio de Janeiro. The approach occurred around 9:20 PM, as he was heading home after picking up his 3-year-old daughter, who was under the care of a caregiver in Tomás Coelho.

According to Miguel, he was taking the daily route he usually takes after work to pick up his daughter. The approach was so quick that he only managed to understand what had happened after being forcibly removed from the vehicle by the criminals, who also took his chain.

What Miguel did not know at the time of the robbery was that his 3-year-old daughter was still sleeping in the back seat of the car. The criminals took the vehicle with the child still inside, without her noticing any movement.

The girl only woke up at the police station, after the family called the police. Miguel thanked God for the fact that his daughter did not notice anything that happened and was not injured during the incident.
