Rio Gastronomia Will Feature Award-Winning Restaurant Debuts, Veteran Returns, and Space for Historic Bars

The 16th edition of Rio Gastronomia takes place at Jockey Club Brasileiro, in Gávea, between September 17 and October 4, maintaining the combination that established the festival as one of the main events on the Rio calendar: award-winning restaurants, anticipated debuts, performances by big names in Brazilian music, and varied programming over three weekends.

Among this year's newcomers are Ferro e Farinha, Casa Magnólia, Koral, Gonza, Casa 201, Balcão 201, BBQ Lagoa, and Eleninha, totaling more than ten houses participating for the first time.

The event also features the return of audience favorites, such as Giuseppe Grill, San, Babbo Osteria, Rufino Parrilla, Curadoria & Bar Saudade, and Rancho Português. Another celebrated return is that of Teva Deli e Bistrô, which returns to the festival with new menu items.

Actor Rafael Infante, from the Porta dos Fundos group, was filmed arguing with a celebrity photographer on the beach at Barra, in Rio de Janeiro.
