The Porto Territorial Command of the PSP arrested a 31-year-old man on suspicion of drug trafficking in the city of Maia. The arrest came following a call from the mother of an eight-year-old child, who found drugs in her son's backpack.
The mother called the PSP after finding drugs in her son's backpack. To the police, the woman explained that the child's father, 31 years old, had called her asking if she had "seen anything" in the son's backpack.
The man was arrested on suspicion of drug trafficking and was subjected to weekly reporting at the police station. The case is being investigated by the authorities.
