The National Agency for Petroleum, Gas and Biofuels (ANPG) announced that a purchase and sale contract was signed between ETU Energias and Cabinda Gulf Oil Company, a subsidiary of Chevron, the American multinational energy company.
ETU Energias, Angola's largest private oil company, will acquire a 13% stake in Block 14 and a 15% stake in Block 14K, through this agreement with Cabinda Gulf Oil Company.
The contract was signed on August 28, according to what the national concessionaire stated in a communiqué.
The agreement came following the exercise of a right of first refusal by ETU Energias, in a deal involving two petroleum areas located off the Angolan coast.
