The mayor recalled the measures implemented in the municipality to strengthen security, including increased police presence, reduced operating hours for commercial establishments, and noise control. These initiatives were presented as part of an integrated local security strategy.

Rui Cristina reaffirmed that the safety of residents and visitors constitutes an absolute priority for the municipality of Albufeira. The mayor also expressed his confidence in the continued joint work between local authorities and the judicial system.
