PCP-Madeira prepares for "Festa do Avante!" between September 4 and 6

The PCP-Madeira is preparing to participate in the next edition of the "Festa do Avante!", which this year celebrates its 50th edition. The event will take place between September 4 and 6, in Amora, in Seixal.

The party states that this is "one of the greatest political and cultural events held in the Country", attracting thousands of participants from across the national territory.

The 2025 edition marks a significant date in the event's history, which had its first edition in 1976. In 2026, exactly 50 years since the birth of the "Festa do Avante!" will be celebrated.

The PCP-Madeira indicates that it is "tuning the engines" for this special edition, demonstrating the regional party's commitment to this event traditionally organized by the Portuguese Communist Party.
