Festa do Avante! marks 50 years at Quinta da Atalaia with presence of PCP-Madeira

The 50th edition of Festa do Avante! takes place between September 4 and 6, at Quinta da Atalaia, in Amora, Seixal. The event celebrates half a century of existence, with its first edition having taken place in 1976 at FIL. The event is dedicated to culture, family gathering and political debate.

PCP-Madeira is present at the festival again. The regional space promises to bring the island's gastronomy and local identity to the venue, thus promoting Madeiran culture among the event's participants.

The presence of PCP-Madeira also serves to promote the claims of workers and populations of Madeira and Porto Santo, giving voice to the social and labor concerns of these autonomous regions.
