The Prime Minister announced that Portugal fulfilled 100% of the milestones and targets planned in the Recovery and Resilience Plan (RRP), completing the 44 established reforms. This announcement represents an important milestone in the execution of the European post-pandemic recovery plan.
According to the government, over 16 billion euros in grants are guaranteed for Portugal under this program. These funds are intended to support economic recovery and the implementation of structural reforms in the country.
Despite the conclusion of the reforms, the government acknowledges that there are still works to be completed under the RRP. These works represent the investment component that is still in the execution phase, while the reform component was fully fulfilled.
The announcement was made by the Prime Minister and initially published by the Barlavento newspaper, marking the conclusion of a four-year cycle of plan implementation that defined Portugal's investment priorities and structural transformation.
