The Mozambican prime minister challenged the Agricultural Research Institute of Mozambique (IIAM) to invest in scientific research as a way to modernize the country's agricultural sector. The challenge was launched today, during a public speech.
The main objective is to generate more efficient and resilient production systems to climate change. The head of government emphasized the importance of developing agricultural practices that can resist the effects of climate change.
The Mozambican Executive expressed being firmly committed to the transformation of the agricultural sector. According to the prime minister, there will be no modern agriculture without strong scientific research, nor will there be sustainable development without this investment.
