The granddaughter of Manuela Moura Guedes and José Eduardo Moniz was baptized on July 4th. The child, named Tereza, turned one year old on the same day she received the first sacrament of Christian initiation.

The news was announced by the parents on social media. In the post, it's possible to see images from the girl's baptism celebration, which the parents called "Terezoca Bomboca."

Fifty years of all futures still to imagine

The National Ballet Company (CNB) presents its new 2026/2027 season, marking the celebrations of its fiftieth anniversary. The highlight goes to "Disquiet," a creation by Marcelino Sambé and Daniel Cardoso inspired by the work of Fernando Pessoa, premiering in October at the Camões Theatre, in Lisbon. The season also includes "The Extraordinary Company," by Fernando Duarte, which connects the past and future of the company, as well as the return of "The Sleeping Beauty" in December. The program also includes training for new audiences, such as the choreographic version of "Peter and the Wolf" for children and youth audiences, maintaining the talk cycles and solidarity dress rehearsals that characterize the CNB's mission.
