Maratona das Artes & Ofícios Returns in September

The Institute of Wine, Embroidery and Handicrafts of Madeira (IVBAM) will hold on September 19 the 2nd edition of Maratona das Artes & Ofícios, an event dedicated to regional handicrafts. The initiative will take place between 10 am and 6 pm and brings together artisans, creators and the public for a whole day dedicated to traditional arts and crafts.

After a first edition held in 2025, the event now returns with a more informal and outdoor format. This year, the marathon will be held in the courtyard of the IVBAM building, located on Rua 5 de Outubro, providing a more relaxed environment for participants and visitors.

Throughout the day, various activities related to regional handicrafts will be held, although the specific program details have not been fully disclosed in the available article.
