The authorities found an abandoned car in Santo António da Charneca, in the municipality of Barreiro, which was allegedly used in jewelry store robberies on the South Bank. The vehicle was located by security forces during investigations into the crimes.

The suspects of the jewelry store robberies remain at large, having managed to escape before the authorities arrived at the location where the vehicle was abandoned. Investigations continue to identify and locate the robbery perpetrators.

The car found may constitute an important clue for solving the crimes, possibly allowing the collection of forensic evidence or establishing links between the suspects and the robberies carried out in the South Bank region.
