CIP hosts 7th Portugal–Saudi Arabia business meeting

CIP (the Portuguese Industry Confederation) hosted the 7th business meeting between Portugal and Saudi Arabia, reinforcing the economic ties between the two countries. The meeting took place in the context of a growing bilateral relationship and featured the participation of representatives from both markets.

More than 60 Portuguese companies are expected to be licensed to operate in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by the end of the year. This number represents a significant increase in the Portuguese business presence in that Gulf market.

During the meeting, four memoranda of understanding were signed in the health sector. These agreements aim to strengthen cooperation between the two countries in the healthcare sector and represent priority areas of bilateral collaboration.
