Sp. Braga is the only Portuguese team in the Europa Conference League. The Minho team was placed in pot 1 of the draw, which guaranteed them a favorable position in the competition's seeding.

The draw proved favorable for the Bracarenses, who will face four Nordic teams throughout the competition. This concentration of teams from Nordic countries represents a characteristic challenge for the Minho side.

In addition to the four Nordic opponents, Sp. Braga was also required to face Gent, a Belgian team, and Egnatia, a club from Albania. This combination of opponents results directly from the format of the European competition draw.
