A 42-year-old woman was arrested on the afternoon of August 27 in Coimbra, when she was at the PSP police station to accompany a family member. Woman seriously injured after being hit by car in Vila Nova de Anha

A woman was seriously injured after being hit by a car in Vila Nova de Anha, in front of Restaurante Anabela. The alert was given at 12:16 to the Sub-Regional Command of Emergency and Civil Protection of Alto Minho. Sapadores de Viana do Castelo, the VMER and the GNR were on scene, providing assistance to the victim. The circumstances of the accident are being investigated by authorities.
