A woman was seriously injured after being hit by a car in Vila Nova de Anha. The alert was given at 12:16, according to a source from the Sub-Regional Command of Emergency and Civil Protection of Alto Minho. The accident occurred in front of Restaurante Anabela. Sapadores de Viana do Castelo, the VMER and the GNR were on scene to provide assistance and ensure the safety of the area. The circumstances of the accident are being investigated by the competent authorities.
