Márcio Amaro performs at Portuguese Food Festival in Jersey

Márcio Amaro, a singer from Madeira, is currently in Jersey, a Channel Island. The Madeiran artist will perform for four consecutive days at the Portuguese Food Festival, which takes place this Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. The festival is considered the largest Portuguese event on that British island. This participation represents an opportunity for the singer to bring Madeiran music to an international audience, in the context of one of the main celebrations of the Portuguese community in Jersey.

New edition of the Short/age festival in Viseu brings together two premieres this year

The 'Short/age – Shortfilms for a New Age' festival holds its 75th session in Viseu on Friday, August 28, at 9:30 PM, at the new Cultural Center on Rua Direita. The program includes two Portuguese directorial debuts – "First Date," marking Luís Filipe Borges's directorial debut, and "Aquele Abraço," a fiction film by Michael Joaquim Matias – along with the Turkish short film "Happy Feet," by Sevgi Esman.
