The Aveiro em Movimento program will return strong starting in September, becoming a regular and continuous program. The project was presented in July, when the first experimental activities took place. This program aims to dynamize the city of Aveiro with several initiatives. Starting next month, participants will be able to enjoy a more regular and structured program.

There goes the pilgrimage of São João d'Arga

Another edition of the traditional pilgrimage of São João d'Arga took place in the Serra d'Arga, in Caminha. Pilgrims and visitors fulfilled the centuries-old tradition of climbing to the sanctuary and walking three times around the chapel, followed by the offering of two alms: one to the saint and one to the devil. The night of June 28 to 29 once again attracted thousands of people, who gathered to the sound of concertina, challenge singing, chiripiti and green wine, in what is considered one of the most traditional and authentic pilgrimages in Minho.
