King Harald of Norway has died

King Harald of Norway died at the age of 89, the royal palace reported this Friday. He was a reformer who governed the country for more than three decades on the throne.

Throughout his reign, Harald managed to emerge from the shadow of his father, who was very loved by the Norwegian people, building his own legacy as monarch.

His death marks the end of a long period of monarchical stability in Norway, with Harald having ruled for more than 30 years.
