Russia attacks Kyiv with drones, Zelenskyy again calls on allies for defense systems

Russia launched a drone attack on Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine. The attack took place amid an escalation of conflict between the two countries.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy again made an appeal to Kyiv's allies calling for the sending of more defense systems. The request is specifically for ballistic missile defense systems.

Zelenskyy has reiterated these requests on several occasions, emphasizing the need to stop Russian attacks that have been hitting Ukrainian territory.

Western allies have been providing military support to Ukraine since the beginning of the conflict, but Zelenskyy continues to call for more defensive equipment to protect the country's population and infrastructure.
