YOUNG VOLUNTEERS FROM THE JUST A CHANGE ASSOCIATION REHABILITATE HOUSES IN ODEMIRA

A group of 25 young volunteers from the Just a Change Association is in the municipality of Odemira to carry out housing rehabilitation work. This action is part of the Camp In Odemira 2026 program.

The volunteers are rehabilitating three houses in two different locations. Two of the houses are in the Camachos area, in São Teotónio, while the third is located in the village of Amoreiras, in São Martinho das Amoreiras.

The Just a Change Association is an organization dedicated to housing rehabilitation projects through youth volunteering, with the participation of people of different ages and backgrounds.

The Camp In Odemira 2026 program aims to revitalize the territory of the municipality of Odemira through volunteering initiatives that contribute to improving the living conditions of local populations.

Albergaria-A-Velha: Agreement signed with landowners of land covered by future 'City Park'

The municipality of Albergaria-A-Velha celebrated an agreement with a family owning rustic land essential for the construction of the future City Park, a green corridor located next to Largo dos Chorões. The agreement provides for the payment of almost 210 thousand euros for an area of 17,512 square meters. The park, with approximately 3.7 hectares, will be situated north of the city center and will include paths, functional spaces, balanced ecosystems and about 120 trees of various species, such as silver birch, ash and pedunculate oak, as well as herbaceous plants such as lavender and rosemary, offering the population a green space of landscape and social value.
