"Indecent": João Soares criticizes equivalence made by Hugo Soares between Carneiro and Ventura, but downplays controversy with MAI

João Soares, a socialist invited by PSD, spoke at the party's Summer University and did not avoid criticism during his speech. The former deputy criticized Hugo Soares for the equivalence he made between António Carneiro and André Ventura, calling it "indecency".

Regarding the controversy involving the Ministry of Internal Administration, João Soares downplayed the controversy, choosing not to comment in depth on the matter.

Regarding Luís Neves, president of the Judicial Police, João Soares also downplayed the existing controversy and lamented what he described as a "miserable campaign" against what he considered to be an "excellent president" of the institution.

Albergaria-A-Velha: Agreement celebrated with landowners of area covered by future 'City Park'

The municipality of Albergaria-A-Velha celebrated an agreement with a family owning rustic land essential for the construction of the future City Park, a green corridor located next to Largo dos Chorões. The agreement provides for the payment of almost 210 thousand euros for an area of 17,512 square meters. The park, with approximately 3.7 hectares, will be situated north of the city center and will include paths, functional spaces, balanced ecosystems and about 120 trees of various species, such as silver birch, ash and pedunculate oak, as well as herbaceous plants such as lavender and rosemary, offering the population a green space of landscape and social value.
