More than 100 security force personnel are missing in Nepal after devastating floods, affecting the very crisis response structure. Gonçalo Órfão, national emergency coordinator for the Red Cross, explained the difficulties faced by Nepali authorities during search and rescue operations.

Man arrested in Rio de Mouro with more than 599 doses of cocaine

A man aged 27 was arrested by the PSP in Rio de Mouro, Sintra, on suspicion of drug trafficking. The arrest occurred during the recovery of a vehicle in a case of breach of trust, when police discovered that the driver was transporting illicit substances. Approximately 599 doses of cocaine and 3,700 doses of hashish were seized, along with 148 euros in cash and two mobile phones. The suspect was brought before a court, where he was placed under the judicial measure of presenting himself twice a week.
