10 minutes: man who ran over 16 people in Albufeira remanded in custody

The man who ran over 16 people in Albufeira was placed in preventive detention. He had 1.29 grams of alcohol per liter of blood and was in possession of two driving licenses whose authenticity is being investigated. The Public Prosecutor's Office is charging him with six crimes, including attempted aggravated homicide and dangerous driving.

Man arrested in Rio de Mouro with more than 599 doses of cocaine

A man aged 27 was arrested by the PSP in Rio de Mouro, Sintra, on suspicion of drug trafficking. The arrest occurred during the recovery of a vehicle in a case of breach of trust, when police discovered that the driver was transporting illicit substances. Approximately 599 doses of cocaine and 3,700 doses of hashish were seized, along with 148 euros in cash and two mobile phones. The suspect was brought before a court, where he was placed under the judicial measure of presenting himself twice a week.
