The maritime polar air mass that caused a significant drop in temperatures in mainland Portugal is moving away from the territory, allowing a thermal recovery between Friday, the 28th, and Sunday, the 30th, with maximum temperatures that could reach 34°C. For today, Thursday, the expected temperatures range between 15°C in Guarda and 25°C in Lisbon, with the Northern region and some cities in the Centre being the most affected, with district capitals that should not exceed 18°C, and the districts of Viseu and Guarda recording the lowest values, below 20°C.

The South of the mainland will escape the precipitation and will see a small rise in maximum temperature. In the Azores, periods of rain are expected during the night and morning across all island groups, while in Madeira there may be light showers on the north-facing slopes and highlands, with moderate northeast wind.
