GOUVEIA: Municipality congratulates students admitted to Higher Education and reinforces support

The Municipality of Gouveia congratulated the municipality's students who secured places in Higher Education, following the announcement of the results of the 1st phase of the National Access Contest. The local authority sent a message of congratulations to the young people who are beginning a new academic and personal stage, wishing them success. The municipal council also reiterated its commitment to continuing to support students through scholarship programs and social assistance.

Alcolumbre chooses Lula-aligned rapporteurs for MP on ending the 'blusinhas' tax and projects on critical minerals and datacenters

The president of the Senate, Davi Alcolumbre (União-AP), has chosen allies of President Lula as rapporteurs for provisional measures and projects considered priorities by the Executive branch. Senator Leila Barros (PDT-DF) will report on the MP that eliminates the so-called "blusinhas tax," which had been stalled and was at risk of expiring without being voted on. The agreement for the vote was reached after a meeting between Alcolumbre, Lula, and the president of the Chamber, Hugo Motta, with a deadline until September 8. Senator Eduardo Braga (MDB-AM) was designated as rapporteur for the bill that regulates the exploration of critical minerals, among other projects.
