Vircos, a corporate artificial intelligence engineering company, implemented Friol.ai as an internal knowledge base at NUV Brasil, a human resources company. The initial goal was to reduce the volume of repetitive questions the team received. However, during the process, the company identified a different reading of the data on AI use in the workplace.
A survey conducted by MyIQ with more than 22,000 workers in ten regions worldwide, between June and July of this year, revealed that 74% of professionals who use artificial intelligence regularly started directing to a chatbot questions they would previously have asked coworkers. The study also showed that 71% reported having become more self-sufficient and 62% say they feel more confident making decisions on their own in recent years.
On the other side, 59% ask colleagues for a second opinion less frequently than before and 48% noticed a decline in spontaneous conversations during work hours. The most common interpretation of these numbers points to a loss of interaction among workers. Vircos, while working within a human resources operation, found a different perspective on the impact of artificial intelligence in the corporate environment.
