Vircos brought artificial intelligence to NUV Brasil's HR and found the question no one was asking

oglobo15 September 2026 at 19:36

Vircos, a corporate artificial intelligence engineering company, implemented Friol.ai as an internal knowledge base at NUV Brasil, a human resources company. The initial goal was to reduce the volume of repetitive questions the team received. However, during the process, the company identified a different reading of the data on AI use in the workplace.

A survey conducted by MyIQ with more than 22,000 workers in ten regions worldwide, between June and July of this year, revealed that 74% of professionals who use artificial intelligence regularly started directing to a chatbot questions they would previously have asked coworkers. The study also showed that 71% reported having become more self-sufficient and 62% say they feel more confident making decisions on their own in recent years.

On the other side, 59% ask colleagues for a second opinion less frequently than before and 48% noticed a decline in spontaneous conversations during work hours. The most common interpretation of these numbers points to a loss of interaction among workers. Vircos, while working within a human resources operation, found a different perspective on the impact of artificial intelligence in the corporate environment.

Why this matters

The survey reveals that AI adoption in the corporate environment is transforming important social dynamics, with professionals increasingly dependent on chatbots instead of human interactions, which may impact collaboration and workplace relationships. The NUV Brasil experience shows that implementing AI in HR can generate unexpected insights into how technology affects workers' daily lives.

Guardia Civil issues warning for platform that many Portuguese people use and can put bank account at risk: "It can cost you all your life savings"

The Spanish Guardia Civil alerted, through a video on social media, that pirate IPTV applications – frequently downloaded to watch football for free – may contain malicious software capable of collecting passwords, displaying fake screens over legitimate banking applications, and intercepting SMS verification codes. The malware operates in the background, without visible signs, and only activates when the user opens the bank application, requesting credentials at a moment of greater vulnerability. Europol recommends installing applications only from official stores, checking permissions, and keeping systems updated. In Portugal, the Bank of Portugal advises immediate contact with the banking institution in case of suspected fraud.
