Three suspects in the shooting of a tourist in Lisbon's Baixa handed themselves in to the Judicial Police. The incident occurred in the historic district of the Portuguese capital, one of the most frequented areas by tourists.
The suspects may face charges of attempted homicide should they be found guilty. The voluntary surrender to the PJ suggests they chose to present themselves to authorities rather than be apprehended.
Authorities continue to investigate the full circumstances of the shooting, including the motives behind the attack on the tourist.
