GTIS Partners LP announced that it is changing its name to Brightshore Capital LP, marking a new chapter for the real estate investment manager founded 21 years ago, after the transition to a partnership structure entirely owned by its partners. The change follows the acquisition, in 2025, of the stake held by former outside investors.
The company also announced the launch in the United States of Brightshore Credit, a real estate credit investment platform that will have an initial contribution of $250 million. The platform will focus on origination and investment in high-yield credit, including stretch senior and mezzanine financings, preferred equity and class B notes.
Brightshore manages $5.6 billion in gross assets, with a focus on residential and industrial investments in the United States and residential, industrial, corporate and hotel investments in Brazil. The company was founded in 2005.
