Allianz Trade revealed a study this Tuesday, September 15, that classifies the evolution of the world economy as being "at three speeds". This phenomenon is characterized by the growing concentration of business growth in specific sectors, while others face significant difficulties.
According to the study, artificial intelligence, defense and energy are the sectors that stand out as the main drivers of current business growth. These three sectors concentrate an increasingly large share of global economic activity.
In contrast, several cyclical sectors face greater pressure on three main fronts: profit margins, financial liquidity and supply chains. This disparity between growth sectors and sectors in difficulty defines the current economic dynamics described by Allianz Trade.
