Sérgio Hondjakoff, 42 years old, is one of the 22 participants of "A Fazenda 18" and is trying to return to the spotlight after years away from television. The actor faced personal problems and fought against drug addiction, which kept him away from audiovisual projects for a long period.
Born in New York, in the United States, Serginho is best known for the character Cabeção in "Malhação," a role he played for six seasons, between 2000 and 2006. Before that, he began his career as a child actor in "Escolinha do professor Raimundo," playing the son of Rolando Nero, and also participated in segments on programs hosted by Angélica.
In 2014, without receiving job offers in acting, he decided to invest in a musical career as a funk singer and launched himself as a duo with Dino Boyer. The adventure as a singer, however, did not continue, and three years later he moved again to New York, where he was born, to work as a cashier in a restaurant.
According to the actor's own account to EXTRA, the decision to return to the United States had the goals of perfecting his English and doing a kind of "detoxification," in reference to the fight against drug addiction that he faced over the years.
