Patrícia Poeta made her runway debut at New York Fashion Week this Monday, the 15th. At 50 years old, the TV host participated in the presentation of the fashion brand Valerian Hughes Paris, which closed the season's programming for the event. The experience represented for her an opportunity to allow herself new experiences and challenges outside her comfort zone.
In an interview with ELA, Patrícia stated she is going through a phase in which she has been allowing herself to live the new. "I am in a phase where I have been allowing myself to live the new. And I think that is exactly what gives me these butterflies in my stomach: doing something for the first time. It's been a long time since I allowed myself so many first times," she declared.
Although she has already covered fashion weeks around the world up close, the TV host admitted that being on the runway occupies a different place from what she knows in front of the cameras. "I feel much more comfortable being the person who interviews, being on the other side. But I think that is also part of this moment of mine of living first times, of taking risks and trying new things," she added.
The preparation for the debut began approximately a month ago, under the guidance of the team responsible for her look for the event.
