Teresina council members demanded during Tuesday's (15) session the release of parliamentary amendments and criticized the delay in executing public works in the capital. The legislators pointed out that resources allocated through amendments are not being effectively used, creating an impasse between the municipal legislative and executive branches.
Monitoring of public works was another point highlighted by the council members. Representatives of the municipal legislature complained about the lack of transparency and information regarding the progress of projects in the city, making it difficult to track the actions of the executive branch.
Teresina faces problems related to the execution of infrastructure and public services projects. The council members emphasized the need for greater urgency on the part of the city hall in applying available resources, especially those from mandatory amendments approved by the municipal chamber.
