The European Commission is the entity responsible for this initiative, which wants to address the challenges faced by both workers and companies operating in various European countries.
The new measures promise to better protect mobile workers against abuses and eliminate the slow and complex administrative procedures that currently make it difficult for companies to recruit talent and provide cross-border services.
According to the Commission, these changes could generate benefits worth six billion euros for the European economy, facilitating greater labour mobility in the EU bloc.
