A fire broke out on Tuesday morning (15th) at Bar Botecão, located on Rua do Catete, corner with Rua Andrade Pertence, in Catete, South Zone of Rio de Janeiro. Images circulating on social media recorded the flames consuming the establishment.
The Fire Department reported that the Catete station was called at 9:14 AM to respond to the incident. The teams managed to control the fire and, in the late morning, were carrying out the final work at the scene.
According to firefighters, there were no reports of victims in the fire. There is still no official information about the cause of the fire, but initially it is suspected that the flames started in the establishment's kitchen.
