The Public Prosecutor's Office is working to ensure that judicial proceedings involving the Ministry of Internal Administration (MAI) and the Chega party are resolved swiftly. Amadeu Guerra, who is the Attorney General, expressed this intention to journalists at the end of the inauguration ceremony of the new Palace of Justice in Beja.
The magistrate stated that the institution he leads intends that "everything be quick" with regard to these specific cases, although he did not detail which concrete proceedings he was referring to.
The inauguration ceremony of the new Palace of Justice in Beja thus served as the setting for this communication from Amadeu Guerra about the priority given to proceedings involving both the MAI and Chega.
The new building represents an investment in the judicial infrastructure of the region, and its inauguration coincided with the moment when the Attorney General made these statements about the urgency in resolving proceedings that link these political entities.
