The Federal Fluminense University (UFF) hosts, from Wednesday until the 22nd, the 15th edition of the Interculturalidades festival at the UFF Center for Arts. The event, with free admission, has as its theme "The wheel of the world: masters, enchanted ones and cazumbás" and transforms the campus into a meeting point for different territories, knowledge and cultural manifestations.
The festival brings together a diverse program that includes shows, theatrical performances, exhibitions, workshops, conversation circles, performances, processions and encounters with masters of popular culture. Among the musical highlights are Tiganá Santana, Juliana Linhares, Anastácia and Slipmami.
The program also features the presence of anthropologist Eduardo Viveiros de Castro, Teatro Oficina Uzina Uzona and indigenous artists from the exhibition "Jaguaretê — Reanthropophagies of the scene". The event is divided into two axes, including the encounter of masters from different regions.
