oglobo15 September 2026 at 15:00

Celso Neto races this weekend at the penultimate round of the 2026 IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge season at Indianapolis Motor Speedway in the United States. The event schedule runs from Friday (18th) through Saturday (19th), featuring the two-hour race for the TCR class.

The circuit is part of Neto's recent history. Since 2022, the Brazilian has competed in races at Indianapolis and has recorded podium finishes in all his appearances. Last season, the driver finished in second place at the IMSA round held at the circuit, competing with an Audi RS3 LMS TCR.

The round also marks the debut of Jenson Brickley as Neto's teammate in the Stallion Motorsports #77 CUPRA León VZ TCR. The 2025 TCR Europe champion, the British driver has already raced alongside Neto in TCR South America at Interlagos, although in different cars.

Brickley will replace Raphael Reis for the final two rounds of the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge season.
