A 70-year-old Spanish tourist died on a beach at Costa de Caparica. The incident occurred at Praia da Saúde, where the victim was struck by a sudden illness.
The tourist received assistance from a lifeguard present on the beach, who attempted to provide first aid before the arrival of emergency services.
INEM was also dispatched to the location and participated in assisting the victim, but despite resuscitation efforts, it was not possible to save the Spanish tourist's life.
The competent authorities were notified of the death, which occurred under natural circumstances related to the sudden illness that struck the elderly man.
