Seven people died on Portuguese roads between September 8 and 14, during an awareness campaign on the use of security devices. This number represents three fewer deaths than in the same period last year.
The campaign took place under the motto "Cinto-me vivo" and was carried out by the National Road Safety Authority (ANSR), in partnership with the National Republican Guard (GNR) and the Public Security Police (PSP). The security forces were responsible for enforcement on the roads during this period.
