A 68-year-old man suffered burns to the upper body, namely on the back, face and head, after an alleged assault by his partner. The incident occurred this afternoon on Caminho do Comboio, in Funchal, on the Island of Madeira.
The occurrence reportedly happened in a domestic violence context, according to the information gathered. The Public Security Police is already on the scene taking charge of the incident.
The Madeiran Voluntary Firefighters were also mobilized to the location, where they are providing assistance to the victim.
