PS Mafra and the Citizens Group Hugo Moreira Luís are holding negotiations to find a common political and technical platform in preparing the Municipal Budget for 2027. According to a statement from PS Mafra, a working meeting took place yesterday between party leaders and representatives of that citizens' group.
Among the proposals presented by PS Mafra, the highlights are the reduction of IMI, the elimination of tolls on the A21 for residents in the municipality, and the strengthening of public and affordable housing supply. The party states that the preparation of the Municipal Budget constitutes an opportunity to transform political priorities into concrete measures with impact on the lives of residents.
Other topics under discussion included economic development, mobility, culture, tourism, civic participation, transparency, and territorial cohesion. PS Mafra expressed determination to maintain a dialogue and responsible attitude, seeking to contribute to concrete solutions without abandoning its political priorities.
The meeting took place in a positive and constructive environment, and it was agreed that new working meetings would be held to further develop the proposals, assess their feasibility, and identify the conditions necessary for their implementation in the 2027 Municipal Budget.
